Projects : Translation of Marguerite YourcenarsLes Nouvellesorientales into Bengali.

Thrust areas in teaching and research of the academic Department / Center : French and francophone literature, literary translation and Womens writing in French and Bengali (1970-1990)

Teaching support :

1. Learning through projects based on personal choice
2. Workshops held with the Embassy of France
3. Study circle outside class-routine on topics selected by participants
4. Presentation by students and teachers with power point (projector)

Research support : Projector, funded by UGC Equipment Fund, XIth Plan

Major Activities : Internation workshop on Canadian Francophone culture and literature was held in 2014, and another international workshop on Belgian culture and literature was held in 2015.
