My current research interests lie primarily in various areas of Sociolinguistics, including different aspects of multilingualism, interactional sociolinguistics, language policies and language politics, language choice and language use, language attitude, and the study of the relationship between the city and the languages.

My previous research interests included Translation Studies and Contrastive Analysis.
