Abstract
Over the past years, dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) technology has received extensive attention. This is in view of some attractive features, which include no conductor loss, light weight and high radiation efficiency [1]. Some of the recent work focuses on enhancing the impedance bandwidth of a DRA by introducing parasitic elements, cascading resonators or shaping the DRA elements [2-9]. © 2006 ANTEMURSI.
