Abstract
We propose here a method of measurement of magnetic fields with the help of a HT5C(High Temperature Superconductor) based sensor in conjuction with a microcomputer. She same sensor may be used for monitoring current in a circuit under the influence of controlled magnetic field acting perpendicular to the direction of the current flow. This work is for exploring the possibility of the application of high temperature superconductor(HTSC) alongwith the microprocessor in the area of monitoring magnetic fields. Use of superconductor sensor makes the signal free from noise and also reduces the constant loss in the system. The main disadvantage is that the sensor must be immersed in liquid nitrogen and the strength of the magnetic field should not exceed the critical value for the HTSC Sensor for the magnitude of current flowing through the sensor. © IEEE.
