Six new species, Euceraphis indica, Macrosiphum fagopyri, Masonaphis (Neomasonaphis) inulae, Tinocallis magnoliae, Trichosiphonaphis gerberae, Vesiculaphis rhododendri and a new subspecies Cryptomyzus taoi indica, are described and illustrated. Besides, little known species like Aulacorthum scirpi v. d. G., Macrosiphum (Sitobion) Phyllanthi (Tak.), Myzus obtusirostris David et al., and Ovatus ? minutus v. d. G. are recorded for the first time from Assam. Studies on the aphids (homoptera: Apiiididae) from eastern india: Xiii. new species and new records from assam

One new genus Indomyzus and five new species Indomyzus sensoriatus, Aiceona paraosugii, Capitophorus himalayensis, Capitophorus polygoni, Tuberaphis indica along with a new subspecie Uroleucon formosanus Tak., crepidis are described from the Darjeeling District, West Bengal. Five species Acyrthosiphon (Microlophium) rubiformosanus (Tak.), Hyalomyzus sensoriatus (Mason), Nipponaphis machilicola Takahashi, Macrosiphum (S.) avenae akebiae Shinji and Pseudaphis abyssinica H.R L. are being recorded for the first time from India and notes on some other little known species from the area are added. © 1971 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

Extensive collections of aphids from cultivated and wild plants of North Bengal and Sikkim reveal ten new species and subspecies: Akkaia neopolygoni, Aulacorthum rhamni, Greenidea longicornis, Macrosiphum spinotibium, Macrosiphum (Sitobion) plectranthi, Megalophyllaphis obscura, gen. et spec, nov., Megoura cajanae, Neoacyrthostphon rhododendri, Neoacyrthosiphon taiheisanum ovalifolii and Tinocallis distincta. Besides, five new records of aphids from India and apterous ovipara of Megoura cajanae are also described. The status of Sitobion indicum Basu 1964 is discussed. © 1970 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
