In this paper, the concepts of soft maximal int-ideal and soft irreducible int-ideal of a ring are introduced and some properties of these notions have been studied. Also we point out some facts of a ring which cannot be extended to the soft setting and it is justified by suitable examples. © 2020 World Scientific Publishing Company.

Its alumni and faculty include several heads of state, heads of government, social reformers, prominent artists, only academy award winner and Dirac medal winner in India, many Fellows of the Royal Society and five Nobel laureates as of 2019 which is highest in South Asia.
