Abstract
A compact superstrate geometry as a circular polarizer filter has been proposed to design a circularly polarized (CP) resonance gain antenna (RGA). A dual-fed cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA) has been used as a primary radiator to design a CP RGA. Maximum of 15 dBi CP gain has been achieved over 20% axial ratio (AR) as well as matching bandwidth. The side lobe (<-15 dB) as well as cross-pol levels (<-22 dB) appear quite satisfactory. © 2015 IEEE.
