This work investigates the implementation of TE and TM modes simultaneously in a single microstrip antenna. The proposed design for the first time makes the TE mode survive in a patch by modification of the cavity boundaries producing oblique type radiation. A dual resonant rectangular microstrip patch has been successfully demonstrated to sustain both the TE and TM modes. The design has been experimentally verified using a homemade prototype. © 2018 IEEE.

Its alumni and faculty include several heads of state, heads of government, social reformers, prominent artists, only academy award winner and Dirac medal winner in India, many Fellows of the Royal Society and five Nobel laureates as of 2019 which is highest in South Asia.
