Abstract
Thermodynamic analyses and molecular dynamics calculations demonstrated that i-motifs in a hydrated ionic liquid of choline dihydrogen phosphate (choline dhp) were more stable than G-quadruplexes due to choline ion binding to loop regions in the i-motifs.
