Abstract
A new concept of realizing the HEM 12δ mode in CDRA has been investigated. Excitation of lone HEM 12 δ mode is the salient feature of the proposed design. A planar feed with non-metallic base ensuring a modified boundary condition has been realized and experimentally verified. The antenna promises of an attractive gain of 11 dBi with more than 35 dB co-cross polar isolation. © 2018 IEEE.
