Abstract
An experiment on the estimation of task‐oriented time of three magnitudes with 27 neurotics (Anxiety, Depression, and Hysteria) is reported. Neurotics engaged in different tasks showed significantly high overestimalion irrespective of stimulus times and tasks. The magnitude of overestimation was highest in the hysterics and lowest in the anxiety group while the depressives came in between. 1980 Australian Psychological Society
