Energy changes in dehydroxylation of bauxite minerals

Abstract
Thermal decomposition characteristics of bauxite minerals were studied thermogravimetrically and the energies (E) of activation of the decomposition processes were calculated by Flynn and Wall's method. The observed values showed wide variations due to compositional differences. Accessory minerals associated with the ores influenced dehydroxylation reactions. © 1982 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
