Abstract
Sheath blight caused by Rhizoctonia solani Kühn is a major disease of rice and is responsible for a loss of 50 percent of the total yield of rice. The effect of dose and timing of application of different concentrations of Azadirachtin was tested in the disease management. It has been found that disease percentage was minimum and the yield was maximum for the Azadirachtin concentration of 1500 ppm applied at 4.00 p.m. when the dose was 4.5 ml/lt. In the split split plot analysis only the main factors were found highly significant B (Concentration of Azadirachtin), T (Time of application), and D (Dose of Azadirachtin).
