Abstract
Ligaments associated with the jaws. and suspensorium are relatively well developed on the blind side. Maxilla‐ethmoid, maxilla‐mandible, autopalatine‐maxilla, pterygoid‐lateral ethmoid and pterygoid‐prevomer ligaments are present only on the blind side. The asymmetrical nature and disposition of ligaments enable the jaws of the blind side to feed effectively. Copyright © 1987, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
