Abstract
Treatment of dopamine antagonist haloperidol in rat produced differential effects on the adrenocorticomedullary complex. The release of significant amount of corticosterone from the gland might be due to the high titre of serum PRL which took place after the treatment. On the contrary, the CAM content of adrenal medulla remained non-responsive probably due to the specific blocking of the D 2 -dopaimine receptors.
